ADDRESSABLE FIRE DETECTION
Analogue fire detection systems are normally used for larger area coverage with many fire detectors, comparing to the conventional ones. The advantage of analogue fire detection systems is that every single element (fire detector or button) is identified by the system in case of alarm or component failure.
Alternatively, conventional fire detection systems identify only alarm zones (each zone may consists of several fire detectors - buttons). In addition, analogue fire detection systems can save on wiring since more elements can be connected to a single wire in a bus topology (loop). It is strongly recommended that fire detection systems interface to the access control systems for better protection.
