Security Personnel Training
Our company, as a Recognized Security Organization (RSO), organizes training seminars for security personnel port facilities. The seminars are organized according to the provisions and requirements of SOLAS XI-2, ISPS Code, the Regulation (EC) 725/2004 and Law 3622/2007. In addition, duties and responsibilities with respect to the security of a port facility are constantly updated in order to ensure the development of a Port Facility Security Assessment (PFSA), the maintenance of a Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) and to cooperate with the Ship Security Officers (SSOs) and the Company Security Officers (CSOs).
After successful completion of the training seminar, a course certificate is awarded to participants in accordance with the requirements of the ISPS Code and the Authority’s directives (YTHYNAL/NGLP/DEDAPLE-c), which is a prerequisite, among others, in order to perform duties and responsibilities as security officers.
